An initial task order was also awarded under the IDIQ for $88,622 to provide high-resolution aerial imagery for Naval Support Activity (NSA) Panama City.
“NAVFAC uses GIS for planning, maintaining, operating, and protecting the Navy's shore installations,” said Southeast GeoReadiness Center Manager Adam Kerr. “The high-resolution aerial imagery will help support NSA Panama City’s asset management, installation planning, environmental planning, utilities collection and sustainment, infrastructure maintenance, and climate resiliency,” The work to be performed at NSA Panama City will include geospatial data collection and development, geospatial systems and applications development and implementation, and development of documentation and training material.
The required Architect-Engineer services under the IDIQ contract may include, but are not limited to high-resolution aerial imagery, light detection and ranging (LiDAR) acquisition, utilities data collection, petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL) collection, telecommunications collection, and storm water data collection.
Work will be performed at various locations throughout NAVFAC Southeast’s area of responsibility with an expected completion date of Sept. 5, 2027.
