The Spirit of Hope Award, named for Bob Hope, who generously gave to military men and women for five decades, is presented to either an individual or organization that embodies his core values.
The Fisher Award, named for Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher, founders of the Fisher House, is awarded to either a private sector individual or organization that demonstrates exceptional patriotism and humanitarian service for Service Members of the United States Armed Forces or their families.
The Spirit of Hope Award will be awarded to a Navy recipient and the Zachary and Elizabeth Distinguished Civilian Humanitarian Award will be awarded to a Department of Defense recipient. Nominations must be received no later than March 11, 2022.
Nomination packages must include:
• Two page summary of action
• Biography/Organization History
• Supporting documentation
• Forwarding Nomination letter/email from the Sponsoring Command
