Spanish navy Capt. Javiar Moreno, commodore of MAR-41, and Capt. Joseph Gagliano, deputy commodore of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 60, answered questions during a joint conducted media availability with the Spanish media outlet La Voz de Cadiz aboard the Spanish navy Santa Maria-class frigate ESPS Numancia (F-83) at Naval Station Rota, Spain, Feb. 6, 2019.

Moreno invited Gagliano to speak during the interview to reinforce the strong relationship between Spain and its ally, the U.S.

“It was a pleasure sitting side-by-side with Capitan Naval Moreno as he explained the important work they do and how we are working together to support each other's training,” said Gagliano. “Spain is a great ally for the United States, and MAR-41 is a great partner with DESRON 60.”
