MR. JEFFREY A. TUCKER

Jeffrey Tucker was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1983 attaining a rank of Information Technology Senior Chief (E8) and received his commission as a Chief Warrant Officer2 via the Limited Duty Officer/Chief Warrant officer program.
As an enlisted Information Technology Specialist, his assignments included USS LASALLE (AGF-3) homeported Manama, Bahrain, USS MOBILE BAY (CG-53) homeported Yokosuka, Japan, USS KITTY HAWK (CV-63) Homeported Yokosuka, Japan, Commander Naval Forces Korea, Command Submarine Group - 7 and Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Hawaii.
Jeff Tucker’s first officer assignment was as Battle Group Communications Officer on the staff of Commander Task 70. Subsequent tours included Department Head on the staff of Commander Naval Forces Korea, while assigned he was selected for Lieutenant Junior Grade under the Limited Duty Officer Program, Naval Computer, Telecommunications Station Naples, Italy as Operations Officer, while assigned he was deployed to Camp Lemonier Djibouti on the staff of Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa as J65, Joint Operations Planner, upon his return from temporary assigned deployment, he was directed to report as Director, of the Theater Network Operations and Security Center, Naples, Italy and Executive Officer of NTCS Naples. As Director, he was responsible for the Navy’s ONE-Net OCONUS Network Enterprise, which served; Rota, Spain, Sigonella, Italy, Lisbon, Portugal, Souda Bay, Crete, Naples, Italy and providing support to smaller commands throughout Europe. He was responsible for servicing over 20,000 users on the Enterprise Network.
LT. Commander Tucker retired from the Navy 01 Feb 2010 and became a Government Service Employee for the Department of the Navy as Information Systems Security Manager at External Cooperation Office located on Changi Naval Base, Singapore he held that position until December 2011.
From December 2011 to December 2012, he was the IMO/S6 for the Central Clearance Facility located at Fort Meade, Maryland. Due to BRAC Consolidation, he was realigned under the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) till 2014.
From March 2014 to October 2016, was again realigned under Washington Headquarters Service, and was assigned as Director of IT Operations at the Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudication Facility located at Fort Meade, MD.
From October 2016 to August 2021, he was assigned to the Office of the Program Manager-Saudi Arabian National Guard Modernization Program as the Chief G6/Chief Information Officer.
In August 2021, Mr. Tucker returned from the overseas assignment and reported to DISA-JSP in the Pentagon as the Communication Services Chief, supporting SECDEF, Joint Chiefs, and all Service Chiefs and supported all communication networks in the National Capital Region.
In July 2022, Mr. Tucker reported to Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency, as Chief, Architecture and Engineering division.
Mr. Tucker civilian awards include; Army Meritorious Civilian Service Medal, Army Civilian Commendation Medal and Department of Defense Award of Excellence.
Jeff Tucker holds a Bachelor Degree in Information Systems Management from the University Maryland University College and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from American University, Washington, DC.
